Payment
DEFALCO FOR BREWERS & WINEMAKERS internet store has a minimum $10.00 purchase requirement on all orders (not including taxes, shipping or handling). You may pay for your order with either Visa or MasterCard credit cards. WE DO NOT ACCEPT VISA DEBIT. We will only charge your credit card once the item is shipped.

Shipping

  All packages shipped via Canada Post, Fedex or Purolator requires a customer signature as proof of delivery for DeFalco's (We do not Safe Drop).  Based on each carriers service in your area, your package maybe delivered directly to your home, community mailbox or notice card with instructions to pick up at your local carrier's office.  If your area receives direct home delivery service, each carrier may or may not deliver directly to your residence.  If an attempt is made and no one is available to confirm and sign for your parcel, a notice card will be left with instructions on how to retrieve your parcel at your local carrier's office.  If your area is serviced by a community mailbox and the package does not fit in the parcel compartment, a notice card will be left to pick up your parcel at your local  carrier's office.  Please be aware that you may have to pick up at your local carriers office prior to ordering.   DeFalco's will in no way be liable for parcels not being picked up at local carrier's offices.  Any parcels returned to DeFalco's due to not being picked up will be refunded less all initial delivery charges to the customer as well as the return shipping charges back to DeFalco's.  

  All products listed on this site are considered to be in-stock unless otherwise noted and usually ship within 1-2 business days, Tuesday to Friday. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will begin processing the next business day and will ship within 1-2 business days. DEFALCO FOR BREWERS & WINEMAKERS internet store will use the least expensive option to ship from either Canada Post, Fedex or Purolator. Delivery dates provided at time of checkout are approximate arrival times. Should delays arise due to each carrier's service, DEFALCO FOR BREWERS & WINEMAKERS internet store will in no way be liable for any circumstances that arise due to the delayed delivery or parcel pickups at their local offices. Should you wish to have delivery sooner, please contact us and we can arrange for other options to ship you your order. CANADA POST STRIKE AS OF MAY 30, 2025: Customers wishing to have their orders sent through Canada Post, while the potential strike may begin at any time, may do so at their own risk. Customers who opt to use Canada Post during this time will not be eligible for refund for shipping costs or products that may be delayed/stuck in transit until after the strike ends.

Backorder Policy
If items in your order are out of stock we'll notify you by e-mail with the status and approximate due date for the item to be shipped to you. Most backorders ship within 10-14 business days. In the event that your order is delayed more than 14 business days after the date of your order, DEFALCO FOR BREWERS & WINEMAKERS internet store will attempt to contact you by e-mail, using the e-mail address you provided, and an e-mail will be required from you confirming to proceed with the order or cancel the order. Should we not receive a confirmation e-mail from you within 48 hours providing direction, we will cancel your order. When your items are shipped, we will send you an e-mail confirming your order has been shipped and process your credit card for payment.

Sales Tax

Return Policy

You may return non-perishable, new, unopened, unused and in it’s original packaging merchandise within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Non perishable items consist of products listed under the following MAIN categories: BEER EQUIPMENT, WINE EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES, as well as Purification Equipment..  Sub-categories consist of: Barwares, Bottles, Books, Closures, Beer Brewing Equipment, Wine Making Equipment, Labels, Shrink Caps, Sterilizers and Sanitizers and Wineracks. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on perishable items that are listed under the following MAIN categories: BEER INGREDIENTS, WINE INGREDIENTS, LIQUEURS.  Sub-Categories: Beer Adjuncts, Beer Kits, Liqueur Extracts, beer & Wine Additives, 4, 5 and 6 Week Wine Kits and Yeast. We ask that you make an informed decision, read all descriptions and contact us should we need to provide more information on the particular product that interests you. All return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer BASED ON OUR REDUCED RETURN RATES  and will be deducted from the refund total unless the return is a result of our error. Please allow 2-3 weeks for receipt and processing of your return. It is very important that all returns are co-ordinated with us so we can provide the best possible return rate or should you decide to ship the item back by your own carrier, you will be responsible for the costs, please ensure it is sent with a carrier that has tracking capabilities and are insured for the full value of the merchandise as we will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages. In the event a return is lost or damaged, the customer is responsible to submit a claim with the carrier. Shipments within Canada, United States and International destinations that are refused by the customer at time of delivery and are therefore returned to us will receive credit on the merchandise less any shipping costs incurred to initially send the package as well as to return it to us as well as a 25% re-stocking fee on the total amount of the merchandise. Duty and taxes may be applicable for shipments to the United States and International destinations.
