Watermelon Sour Beer - Sour beers date back to Eighteenth-century Belgium. However, it is a hot debate what came first: using Brettanomyces yeast to create tart and funky flavours, or poor sanitation and a poor understanding of bacteria. What we can all agree on is that sour beers host some of the most interesting flavour combinations on the market. Our aptly named Watermelon Sour Beer provides the perfect combination of refreshing and fruity notes, with a slight sourness that leaves you wanting more. Never mind one in a melon, it’s truly one in a million! 1kg of Light Spraymalt is recommended for this brew. Brewing sugar may also be used. Makes 20 liters. Approx ABV 5%.
Please note: When selecting clearance kits, it is recommended to do a yeast starter at the beginning to ensure the yeast is working before preparing your wort, you may also want to purchase a replacement yeast to have for back up.
