Ales tend to have higher alcoholic contents, more robust flavour and deeper hues than lagers. Colour characteristics range from amber to golden/copper. This style of beer is fuller bodied with hints of fruit or spice.
This yeast is used to produce the California Common style beer. Has the ability to ferment up to 65F (18C) while retaining lager characteristics. Can also be fermented down to 50F (10°C) to produce marzens, pilsners and other style lagers. SPECIAL ORDER 14-28 DAYS

notes: “This traditional Scotch ale has a pleasant malt hop balance which leans towards the rich and dominant sweet malt flavour and aroma side. The caramel character is punctuated with a hint of peated smoke. The English hops provide the pleasant balance to the nice clean finish of this beer.
